  • Mind provides information about depression, its symptoms and possible causes, and how you can access support. Includes tips on caring for yourself, and guidance for friends and family.
  • Self-compassion by Dr Kristen Neff provides information on what self-compassion is and exercises on how we can develop our own self-compassion which could be helpful in dissolving self-critical and negative thoughts.

Post and Pre-Natal Depression

  • Action on Postpartum Psychosis is a charity for women and families affected by postpartum psychosis. They offer peer support services, psychoeducation, and training. 
  • Dads Matter UK offer support for dads and mums suffering from anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress.
  • Maternal Mental Health Alliance is a UK-wide charity and network dedicated to ensuring woman and families affected by perinatal mental health problems have access to care and support.
  • PANDAS provides support groups and a helpline to access information on support services available for Post and Pre-Natal Depression.
  • CrossReach Bluebell Perinatal service offers therapy for families or carers expecting a baby or with a child aged under 2.
