City of Glasgow College are delighted to introduce to you their subsidiary training company - City of Glasgow International Ltd. This company has been created to offer a range of services to complement the college's maritime and commercial activity.
This new company is led by Matt Horton a Senior Manager with 48 years of experience working within the Maritime and Oil & Gas sectors. During this time, Matt has spent 32 years in operational positions within the Maritime and Oil & Gas sectors and 16 years shoreside in a number of senior roles servicing the sectors in STCW, OPITO training, bespoke courses, and supporting many shipping companies’ requirements of uniform and personal protective equipment.
Short Courses/Commercial
STCW, OPITO and GWO courses are available at short notice to meet, individual or companies’ needs, with the benefit of travel and accommodation booked if required.
Bespoke Training
As well as offering a range of courses to meet all your training goals we're also happy to develop bespoke training programmes tailored to your company. Our courses can be delivered at your premises, at City of Glasgow College or online. Our key objective is to deliver services that meet your needs.
Merchant Navy Uniform/PPE
City of Glasgow International is the only Scottish-based Merchant Navy Uniform and PPE provider to the Marine, Oil & Gas and Global Wind Organisation sectors, selling a range of items from epaulettes to coveralls with everything in between.
Consultancy - Oil & Gas and Maritime
City of Glasgow International offers professional consultancy across a wide range of disciplines providing advice and solutions in a flexible manner.
Research / Innovation
City of Glasgow International will have the ability to explore partnerships with universities, tech companies, innovation centres and start-ups, with the opportunity to seek available funding.
