Foundation Apprenticeships

Foundation Apprenticeships are more than just a qualification; they represent a head start in your career journey, offering the chance to earn industry recognition, collaborate on dynamic projects and set the stage for a successful transition into the world of work.

Delivered over one or two years, students will spend part of the week studying at our state-of-the-art City campus and have the chance to participate in a work placement with a local employer. Apprentices will be assessed through portfolio and coursework completion – meaning no formal examinations.

Who are they for?

Designed for pupils in the senior phase of their education, Foundation Apprenticeships are open to S4 to S6 students. We accept applications from Glasgow and the surrounding areas.  How to Apply

Why study a Foundation Apprenticeship?

Foundation Apprenticeships are widely acknowledged by Scottish colleges and universities, carrying an equivalent status to an A pass at Higher at SCQF Level 6. Students will also complete elements of a Modern Apprenticeship throughout their course enhancing their employability and encouraging a variety of pathways to success.
