Digital Construction

Digital Construction is the process where digital tools are applied to create, coordinate and manage Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) digital assets across the entire lifecycle of the project. This process as defined in the ISO 19650 suite of standards, allows collaboration between the AEC Disciplines.

Competition Overview

The competition has been designed to reflect the practical, hands-on skills to enhance the process of delivering and operating the built environment. Working on a Digital Construction project information model, competitors will be required to produce Structural and Architectural Models and should have a full understanding of ISO 19650-1 and 19650-2 BIM standards and be able to apply their knowledge practically in different situations. Competitors must use Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Navisworks and Autodesk AAC software to complete the tasks.
