City of Glasgow College are launching a new oral preparation course for Management Level MCA oral preparation.
The course is suitable for both second and chief engineer oral preparation.
The course will be delivered by experienced chief engineers who have also served as classification society surveyors. Feedback from previous oral candidates will be used within the course and provided to delegates. Included within the course are two individual mock orals delivered by one of our experienced lecturers which will be scheduled as required by students.
Full access to college resources is provided whilst you are enrolled on the course.
Overview
The course is delivered remotely by our experienced lecturers.
The course comprises remotely delivered lectures every Friday between 9am and 4pm throughout the academic year. In addition, lecturers are available to answer queries by email at any time and during the week for face-to-face meetings by arrangement.
The course fee covers as many sessions in the academic calendar as the candidate requires and any candidate enrolling within six weeks of the end of the academic calendar will be rolled over onto the next academic year’s course.
- The course fee entitles you to up to one year of oral prep lectures on a Friday between 9am and 4pm.
- Access to lecturers between delivered sessions, to answer queries and offer guidance.
- Access to college systems and course material.
- Two individual bespoke oral examinations with feedback and guidance.
Course Fee
Academic Year 2023-2024 - £1200.
If you do not want to commit to a full preparation course, you can take advantage of our one-to-one oral prep sessions, which involve 2x1 hour oral prep sessions with one of our experienced lecturers.
