Welcome Events, Induction and Orientation
Students who are due to start a full-time course will receive their joining instructions by email. Links will be added below once the dates are confirmed.

These may be subject to change. Your curriculum team will advise you from 14th August what class you are in.
- Welcome Event/Induction dates will be confirmed 4 weeks before the start date of the course and students will be sent an email confirming details.
- Our faculty teams are finalising timetables which will be issued to you at induction.
- Student ID cards will be issued from week 1 so make sure that you have enrolled.
- Student Funding HNC/D/Diploma/Degree - If your SAAS/SLC funding is in place you can expect payment in week 1 of your course as long as you have enrolled.
- Student Funding NC/NQ/NPA – If your college Bursary/EMA Funding is in place you can expect payment in week 2 of your course as long as you have enrolled.
- If you haven't applied already apply now for student funding.
- Nautical courses include induction as part of the course.

Logging into College Systems
To access your college IT Account please follow the instructions in the Student Log-in Guide. This guide includes information on how to access College IT systems including:
- Citrix (which allows you to access software within the College that you will need for your course).
- Email (Outlook Office 365).
- The College VLE (virtual learning platform) “Canvas”.
- Your timetable.
To log in you must be enrolled. You will also need your student reference number which is included in emails from the college.
If you have not enrolled, please log in to your application tracker and enrol. If you have a conditional offer, you will need to confirm your qualifications to Admissions.
