Our students have enrolled in a course that offers a high-level beauty qualification that providing them with knowledge of current beauty treatments, product ranges and techniques. An employment driven focus throughout all aspects of the course ensures that students are employment ready and have great success in developing careers within the ever-expanding beauty sector. Our therapists perform the treatments once they have successfully completed the necessary training, which provides them with commercial experience to support them on their student journey into the Hair, Make-Up and Beauty Industries.
Students are taught by a highly motivated team with an excellent range of industrial expertise who deliver world-class student focussed learning. The department has been awarded The Herald Look Awards Training Institution of the Year and our students have gained gold and silver medals in WorldSkills UK competitions including entry to Squad UK to compete on the world stage. In recent years there has been a considerable increase in interest and demand for complementary and holistic therapies.
Salon sessions are fully supported and monitored by a qualified lecturer.

Appointments
Appointments are available Monday - Friday during term time but depending on timetables some services may only be available on certain days and time slots.
Please note the following:-
- If you book a course of treatments, please ensure that you can attend all sessions as students rely on this for their assessments.
- We reserve the right to refuse any treatment should we feel it is necessary to do so. Some health issues may restrict or prevent treatment, or medical consent may be required prior to application.
- Please alert staff/students if you have any health concerns or feel that an existing medical complaint may be incompatible with treatment. All information is treated in the strictest confidence, and your co-operation is greatly appreciated.
- Skin testing must be carried out 24 hours prior to eyelash & eyebrow tinting, and for some other treatments – staff will advise.
- Appointments are available to those over the age of 16 only.
