Our primary 160m² multi-camera studio serves as a high-pressure training ground where you will master:

The Gallery: Take control in a fully equipped production gallery featuring digital vision mixers, Jester lighting desks, and advanced talkback systems.
Camera Operations: Work with professional hydraulic ped-mounted cameras, prompters, and mobile jibs to capture broadcast-quality footage.
Post-Production Suites: Refine your work in dedicated Avid and Final Cut Pro edit suites, as well as specialised sound dubbing rooms.

Our courses are recognised by ScreenSkills, the industry-led skills body for the UK's screen-based industries. On our podcasting course, you’ll learn to develop content for both online and broadcast media gaining skills including production, digital editing, presentation, research, interviewing, scripting, and sound recording.

Podcasting courses

On our podcasting courses, you will learn to develop content for both online and broadcast media. Our Radio and Audio Studios act as a practical laboratory for digital storytelling.

You will gain hands-on experience in:

Live Broadcast: Operating industry-standard mixing desks and broadcast software via City Radio, our student-run station.
Sound Design: Utilising dedicated voice-over booths and sound recording suites designed for crystal-clear audio capture.
Digital Editing: Mastering the technical skills of research, interviewing, scripting, and sound recording to build a professional portfolio.
