Overview

This course will appeal to aspiring actors, writers and audio engineers. 

Working in our high-quality suite of radio studios you will contribute to collaborative projects and by the end of the course have produced at least one original radio drama from development to final mixdown including scripting and performance.   

Lectures and discussions will cover the development of the medium and some of the professional techniques used in contemporary radio drama. You will create and write your own content by analysing clips, improvisation, writing exercises and practical production activities. You will be introduced to the technology of microphones, mixing desks and digital audio workstations.

Be inspired by the exciting medium where your imagination is the only meaningful limitation.

Minimum entry requirements

An enthusiasm for radio drama is all that’s required.  No formal entry requirements.
