Overview
This course will introduce you to the art of pastry and teach you how to produce a wide range of pastry items, including plated desserts for dinner parties. The course is suitable for beginners or those with some experience of home baking. You'll learn the basics of bread, pudding and confectionery.

Teaching
How the course is taught
The first night will be a practical demonstration by the lecturer and recipes will be issued. You'll be required to buy ingredients which you'll bring in with you every week. There will be lecturer led demonstrations every week and also the chance to ask any questions and taste the food.

All equipment is provided but you'll need containers to take your food home in. You'll be required to buy ingredients which you'll bring in with you every week.
Dress code
- Appropriate clothing and footwear for the kitchen.
- Apron to protect your clothing.
- Tea towel for drying dishes.
