Supply Chain Management (SCM) is the process of overseeing and controlling the movement of goods and services from manufacturer to the customer. SCM is also used to support medical missions, conduct disaster relief operations, and respond to other emergencies.
You’ll explore the typical structure of supply chain models and identify potential problems within these systems. You’ll have the chance to develop a range of skills, applying your knowledge to real-life case studies and creating solutions to identified issues.
You’ll investigate the measures being taken to improve the efficiency of supply chains and to protect the environment. You will explore the environmental costs of 'fast fashion' and global sourcing and investigate how organisations respond to corporate responsibility.
This course benefits from industry partners providing guest speakers, real-life experience and the opportunity for site visits.
