Overview
If you want to work under supervision in childcare, this course will provide you with the knowledge and understanding you need. You will learn the relevant concepts, theories, principles, and practical skills along with a work placement ensuring you have valuable transferable skills to shine in the workplace.
Entry requirements
Minimum entry requirements
- Five National 5 qualifications at Grade C or above including English; OR
- NQ Childcare OR NQ Health and Social Care Level 5; OR
- Other equivalent qualifications or experience.

ESOL entry requirements
Applicants whose first language is not English should have minimum SQA ESOL National 5 or equivalent for NC/NQ courses and ESOL Higher or equivalent for HNC/D courses.
