Overview
This qualification is suitable if you hold an HNC Childhood Practice (15 Credit) practitioner qualification as specified by the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC). The Higher National Diploma in Childhood Practice at SCQF level 8 covers areas such as enhanced professional practice, leadership and team working, integrated and collaborative working, policy to practice, and pedagogical approaches. It builds on the knowledge and skills of the Higher National Certificate.

- HNC Childhood Practice OR
- HNC Early Education & Childcare.

ESOL entry requirements
Applicants whose first language is not English should have minimum SQA ESOL National 5 or equivalent for NC/NQ courses and ESOL Higher or equivalent for HNC/D courses.
