    The increased digitisation of the workplace has meant there is a demand for administrators to have increased digital skills; this course is an excellent opportunity for you to study and train for a career in various admin positions with excellent career opportunities and progression routes.

    On successful completion of this course, you'll be awarded an HNC Administration and Information Technology with Digital Communications and can progress onto year 2 of the HND Administration and IT.

    This course is placed on the Scottish Credit Qualifications Framework at Level 7.

    Entry requirements

    Minimum entry requirements

    • One Higher at Grade C or above in a relevant* subject; OR
    • National Certificate in Administration (with at least 3 units at level 6); OR
    • Other equivalent qualifications or experience.

    * relevant academic subjects include English, Administration, Business Management, Economics, Geography, History, Mathematics, Modern Studies or a Science subject.

    ESOL entry requirements

    Applicants whose first language is not English should have minimum SQA ESOL National 5 or equivalent for NC/NQ courses and ESOL Higher or equivalent for HNC/D courses.
