Overview
These qualifications are aimed at practising or aspiring managers and leaders who are typically accountable to a senior manager or business owner. The primary role of a practising or aspiring manager and leader is to lead and manage individuals and teams to deliver aims and objectives in line with organisational strategy. Candidates can choose to complete the Award (1 unit) or Certificate (3 units).
Units covered are:
- Principles of Management and Leadership in an Organisational Context.
- Forming Successful Teams.
- Managing Change.
You will have the opportunity to explore the subject through a mix of training materials and guided discussions/class exercises.
Duration
- Award: 3 days / 6 half days plus online / self-study over 2 months.
- Certificate: 9 days / 18 half days plus online / self-study over 6 months.
Certification
The CMI Level 5 Award / Certificate in Management and Leadership will be issued to all successful delegates.
