Overview
This course will help you to develop the skills required for employment in the Aviation, or Airport Ground Industry. It covers everything from customer service and employability skills, to health and safety procedures.
You'll be awarded a City and Guilds Diploma in Air Cabin Crew Operations Level 2 after successfully completing the course.

This course is placed on the Scottish Credit Qualifications Framework at Level 5.
Entry requirements
Minimum entry requirements
- Three National 5 qualifications at Grade C or above including English; OR
- Other equivalent qualifications or experience.
Additional selection requirements
- You must be over 16 years of age at the start of the course as required by City and Guilds.
- You must be taller than 5 feet 2 inches.
- You must hold a valid EU passport and the right to work in the UK.
- You must be fluent in spoken and written English.
- Some airlines may also supply additional criteria.

ESOL entry requirements
Applicants whose first language is not English should have minimum SQA ESOL National 5 or equivalent for NC/NQ courses and ESOL Higher or equivalent for HNC/D courses.

Careers
This course prepares you for a career as air cabin crew or airport ground staff.
Continuing Study
You can also progress onto NC International Travel or HNC in Travel and Tourism at the college.
