Overview

Each qualification is based on the CIPD’s new Profession Map, which taps into the cumulative insight of 19,000 experts.  These insights combine with real-life scenarios, preparing learners to make a real impact in the workplace.

The CIPD Profession Map provides the platform by setting out the knowledge, behaviours and inherent values required to help move the profession forward, individually, and collectively, in order to embrace change in the modern world of work.

This certificate is a Foundation-level, professional qualification and is suited to individuals who:-

  • Are aspiring to, or embarking on, a career in people practice.
  • Are working in a people practice support role and wish to develop their knowledge and deliver immediate and short-term value for their organisation.
  • Wish to develop the specialist knowledge, skills and understanding required to be a people professional.
  • Are in an HR/people practice role with loads of experience but no relevant qualifications and have been away from study for a long time.

Successful completion of the Foundation Certificate qualification will enable learners to gain CIPD Foundation membership and the designation Foundation CIPD.

Classes will take place at our City campus unless pandemic restrictions apply.
