Overview
This new course is designed for food enthusiasts or those with an interest in learning new skills in butchery. The college’s Master Butcher will share some of the skills and knowledge from his 40 years in the butchery trade. The course is hands-on and you'll learn new skills from butchering your own joints to sausage-making.
The course will consist of five weekly three-hour evening sessions that will take you through the essentials of working with some of the finest lamb, beef, pork and poultry Scotland has to offer.
The college has over 50 years of meat skills training and expertise and has recently opened a butchery retail and manufacturing operation in its new award-winning campus.
