How the course is taught

The course is taught using a variety of classroom activities to provide a basic and broad understanding of the Hospitality, Events, Travel and Tourism industries. This unique course will give you the opportunity to learn about all four sectors in one qualification.

Some activities are lecturer-led through presentations, discussions and videos, others rely on you working in teams to research, discuss, comment, present and participate in group discussions. A number of units within the course are practically based where you will plan, participate and deliver actual events. You may also prepare and serve a range of beverages, visit local attractions, learn hospitality service skills, all within the college environment.
