    Teaching

    How the course is taught

The course follows a programme of practical projects supported by demonstrations, talks and workshops in the studio. Coursework is assessed continually and there are no end-of-term exams.

Most projects are practical, and students are expected to undertake research and document this through critical writing usually as annotations in the sketchbook or by a short essay or presentation.

Live projects and talks from industry speakers help to inform an understanding of professional practice and where possible can be embedded into the curriculum.
